Solid Surfacing Countertops

Solid surfacing countertops are made entirely from plastic-resin composite, and allow you a great deal of control of the look you want to acheive. If you love designing your kitchen, solid surfacing will give you the flexibility you want.

There are two things that you have to watch out for with solid surfacing. The first is that it can scratch relatively easily, but as the color is consistent throughout the material, repairs are possible. The other is that it can be damaged by heat, so you need to be careful with your hot pans.

Solid surfacing can give your countertops a seamless look. Your sink can be integrated into the countertops as well.

If you really want a unique look, you may be able to order your solid surface countertop with inlays. It can also be ordered to look like granite or other materials.

Solid surfacing is not one of the cheaper materials you can use in your kitchen countertops, but it offers some of the best flexibility and fairly low maintenance.
